But it’s time without a break.
In the parents’ house being Engaru, so I’ve been there many times, but it takes a little longer if you take a restroom break along the way.
It depends on how long you take breaks, I think it will take about 4 hours to arrive if you don’t stay too long just for a bathroom break.
On the way from Sapporo to Asahikawa, there is the Sunagawa Highway Oasis.
There are restrooms and rest areas, as well as a shopping area where you can purchase local specialties and souvenirs. You can get Hokkaido-like products and tourist souvenirs!
It’s okay when the tulips bloom, when winter comes, it will take quite a while depending on road conditions and snowfall.

For those who come to eastern Hokkaido in winter, please check the weather forecast and road conditions carefully and drive safely.

First, let’s go to Engaru.
The only JR train that can go there without changing trains is the JR train in the early morning, once a day.
Other than that, there is transfer flight at Asahikawa.
It may be good if you are coming while sightseeing, but if you are going without stopping anywhere, it may be better to take JR train in the early morning.
It takes about 15 minutes from Engaru to the bus.
From the Engaru station to the bus terminal is a straight line and takes less than 5 minutes on foot, so there is no need to worry about getting lost.
